Rainy Days Do Not Get Us Down

At the end of lunch, we were able to find one good man in condition to drive us home

Lunch at Le Club 55, Dick's favorite.  They had to install an extra canvas overhead because of the rain

Too Cute!! Girls on holiday from England

Really funny or just really good wine?

This lady decided that our group was more interesting and joined us

Audun and Phil became buddies, was it Phil's very bad Norski jokes?

Lunch at Les Bronzes

Now, who brought this subject up?

I think that it was Audun

With this chair, you might get the bill
Dick has obviously found his little area of Paradise (among others).  Luxurious yachts bask in the company of more modest boats.  The international jet set, Hollywood stars, locals and undistinguished people that nobody has ever heard of (us) cross paths.  The many restaurants offer excellent food and eccentricity.  It is a marathon beach adventure when the sun comes out.  But for now with the rain, the restaurants are full.  We lost Kristin and Audun but Jim Fleig has joined us.  We know Jim from our first trip here, Aspen and Manzanillo.  Jim is from Sun Valley and took the train from Paris to Nice and rented a car and has just finished a road trip through the wine country.  I will mention that Le Club 55 is a special address in Pampelonne with it's international fame and discreetly hidden restaurant.  Under the Tamarisk trees, all the high society of the planet discuss, finance, diplomacy or sailing.  The menu does honor to the sea and we had the privilege to have lunch there yesterday.
