Just a Big Blurr

We took the "Big Bus" known as hop on-hop off and saw the main London attractions. Somewhere along the line, Phil suggested we get off and go to the bathroom at Harrods.  It is a labyrinth of big spending, I went eyes straight ahead to find the 'loo'.  Not an easy thing to do.  Either, to find the loo or not buy anything. Finally we escaped 'Disneyland' and asked, "Who buys all that stuff"? Harrods employs 6,000 people.  We spent eight hours all total with the bus and the Thames River Boat Cruise which is without a doubt one of the best ways to see London, weaving through the heart of the city and past many famous attractions.  We ended our exhausting day with a couple of pubs in the Fleet St. area and walked back towards St. Pauls
and had pizza in an Italian restaurant.  London is like New York with every language in the world being spoken.  It is high fashion, which by the way girls:  everything is black stockings (also textured) with whatever you want, shorts (with cuff), skirts, pants.  Everything is black!!!  It is one big city with lots of traffic.  We will to go to Southampton tomorrow and after some time on the computer it seems that the best route is to take a train from Waterloo Train Station, 1 1/2 hours by train.  We can board by 2: p.m. and depart to sea at 6:p.m.  We will go a little early - just to allow for any problems, when they ship out -they don't wait.  So, hoping for a night of sleep as we still have not adjusted to the time changes we made this last week.
