Warm Weather and Sunshine

Leaving Colorado, fortunately Berthoud Pass
is clear, it can be treacherous.

It is always a welcome relief to drive in the gates of Club Santiago.  In a land where tourism and mega projects are the vogue, the Manzanillo area was never discovered as a major tourist destination.   Club Santiago is a self contained community hidden along the road from Manzanillo to Barra de Navidad. Club Santiago is located on a large bay, Bahia de Santiago, bordered by a natural lagoon with a bridge that leads to the sea cliffs overlooking another bay and by the mountains on the other side.

Club Santiago was designed as a residential area with only El Oasis restaurant and Eureka convenience store zoned as commerical property.  There are a few condominium projects but mostly single family houses.
The Sierra Madre Condominiums where we live have the Mexican charm and spacious grounds.

We enjoy a rooftop garden and living area in our condo, where we spend much of our time.  I grow all kinds of flowers and every type of herb.  It is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon reading or the evening entertaining.

I love walking out to the terrace and cutting the fresh herbs I need for cooking.
This protected bay has a tranquil surf, normally offers safe swimming with calm water that children can play in.

El Oasis restaurant, our favorite, is located on the beach at Club Santiago, a short walk from our condo.  One primary attraction of Club Santiago is two miles of walking beach or spending the day on the
beach at El Oasis.

Manzanillo's pristine, unpopulated beaches are undeniably the most beautiful on the western coast of Mexico.  Walk the miles of sand, flecked with manganese that sparkles like gold in the sunshine,

LIFE IS GOOD
