It is that Time Again

We have enjoyed a good summer and even our first snow but now we are preparing to close up and go south.  We are somewhat isolated here in the mountains and it takes only a couple of days inside the house to want the warm open space of Mexico.

We have a few chores in closing up for the winter, such as
bringing in our chairs that greet you at the front  door.
We will exchange the view of Lake Granby for the ocean.

We will enjoy the colorful bougainvillea in place of wild flowers.

We will keep playing tennis, just different courts and different friends.

Our time outside will be spent on the outside terrace
with views of the palms, in place of the
deck with lake view and pine trees.
We look forward to seeing Mexico friends again, while we say 'good bye for now'  to Colorado friends.  I have always felt a real connection to Manzanillo and it feels like going home.
My next posting will probably be written from Manzanillo.
I want to mention that I have a new post and because I don't know how to change the date, you will need to look under September, 'Does This Ever Happen To You?'.   I first posted on that date but removed it for editing.

Happy Trails to You Until We Meet Again In Manzanillo
